So we went camping (well, somewhat. what else can you do in 30 degree weather).  We had all our gear with us.  My son brought his Sleeping Cot while we had a bunch of travel cots and portable cots with us.  Sleeping cots are nice though very bulky.  We tried to use the camping cots we bought from various locations but camping cots are just too bulky to carry around.  Folding cots and military cots still would be better though folding cots are very expensive and military cots are hard to use.  meanwhile, if you use military cots, people think you're a soldier (but just can't hack the weather).
